Property Insurance

Ithaca College assumes no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property, and extends no insurance coverage to indemnify students' property. Students should check their parents' home-owners insurance as to coverage that may be extended for possible protection against such losses while living on campus.

Personal Property Insurance Coverage is offered to Ithaca College students and staff each year by Haylor, Freyer & Coon Inc. You may contact them or your insurance agent for possible protection against such losses while living on campus.

It is prudent to document what personal property you bring to campus in the event an item is lost, stolen, or damaged. Personal property inventory forms can be filed with the Office of Public Safety.
