Goals of the H.O.M.E. Program

The Offices of Residential Life
and International Programs
co-sponsor this exciting, academically based, multicultural residence hall program.
  1. To provide an inclusive multicultural community.

  2. To provide housing that assists residents in developing a multicultural perspective and directly connects them to people from other cultures.

  3. To create a living/learning experience in a residence hall.

  4. To offer significant academic programming dealing with issues of culture, race, ethnicity, and globalization.

  5. To share information and stimulate discussion on multicultural issues with the later campus.

  6. To provide a housing alternative for international students that will be open for most break periods.

  7. To motivate domestic students to participate in study abroad experiences.

Students living in the HOME program have the option to remain in their residence hall over Thanksgiving, Winter (except for the week the College is closed), and Spring breaks
