YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME
beds & linens

Beds are adjustable to various heights and configurations. When requesting a bed adjustment, students must submit a maintenance request via the iServiceDesk using the description listed. Bed height adjustment requests are not accepted prior to August 15th, between Thanksgiving break and Winter break, or after Spring break.

Low A
Provides about 11-1/2"
of space under the bed.

Raised B (standard)
Provides about 24" of space
under the bed.

Loft C
Provides about 40" under
the bed. Bedrails required.

Loft D
Provides about 54" under
the bed. Bedrails required.

Bunk E
Provides about 11 1/2" under
bottom bunk. Bedrails required.

Bunk F
Provides about 24" under the bottom
bunk. Bedrails are required.

NOTE: Because of health and safety considerations, bunked and lofted beds must be installed by the College. If you request a bunked bed, bed rails will be installed on both sides of the lofted bed or upper bunk. Residents do not have the option to refuse bed rails.

To prevent damage to or loss of College property, students may not disassemble or remove any College property from any room, apartment, or suite, or lounge or other common area. Students may not block any exits from a room, apartment, suite, lounge or other common area with furniture.

Only one loft is allowed per room with requests accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis as bed ends are available. Residents may elevate a bed by placing one cinder block horizontally under each leg. No other materials may be used. Residents are responsible for the removal and disposal of cinder blocks at check out.
