Residential Life: Off-Campus Application - Part I

Please read the following information thoroughly and complete all appropriate sections of the Off-campus application prior to submission.¹
  • As indicated in the Ithaca College Student Handbook (www.ithaca.edu/handbook), only students who are non-seniors for the Fall 2009 semester need to complete this application. You are considered a non-senior if you have less than 5.0 completed semesters on HomerConnect during the Spring 2009 semester.
  • Completing this application does not guarantee that you will receive off-campus approval.
  • As stated in the Ithaca College Student Handbook (www.ithaca.edu/handbook), all "full-time non-senior students must reside in Ithaca College facilities unless authorized to live off-campus by the Office of Residential Life." For this reason we strongly suggest that you do not sign any leases, contracts, or make other commitments for off-campus housing until you have received written approval from the Office of Residential Life
  • If you do not receive off-campus approval you are required to participate in the housing process. If you fail to participate in the housing process, your name will be removed from the Off-campus Wait list and the Office of Residential Life will then assign you to a space.
  • If you receive and once you accept approval to move off-campus, you automatically forfeit your right to on-campus housing for future semesters.³
  • If you decline off-campus status when offered, you must reapply prior to the Off-campus Wait List being closed and will be considered after all other current applicants.

I acknowledge having read the above by clicking Next

¹ There is helpful information in the Off Campus Guide. We strongly encourage you to review this information prior to making the decision to apply for off-campus status.
² You will be billed for room and board on campus if you move off-campus without approval to do so.
³ If you wish to return to on-campus housing, you must make written request for housing to the Office of Residential Life, and if approved, will be housed on a space available basis.
