The Substance Free Housing Community is located in Hood Hall for the 2013-14 academic year. The community will relocate to Terrace 05, first floor (for sophomores, juniors and seniors), and Rowland ground floor (FYRE) for Fall 2014.
The Substance Free community provides new and returning students with an enjoyable living and learning experience where community members commit to living a Substance Free lifestyle. Students who reside in Substance Free may participate in a variety of social events including movie and game nights, study breaks, and tie dying to name a few. Other program topics include healthy eating, living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, leadership opportunities, and civic engagement. As a community member, you will be invited by your Resident Assistant to take an active role in helping to shape the community through regular participation and by helping to plan community events.
