Hood Hall is the location of the Substance-Free Housing program, and as one of the Upper Quad Residence Halls, is located in close proximity to the Campus Center and to the Library. Hood Hall provides new and returning students with a safe, enjoyable living and learning experience where community members are welcome to live Substance Free in a comfortable, supportive environment.
Students who reside in Hood Hall have access to additional sources of entertainment, including extra social floor programs, demonstrating that substance use and abuse is not necessary for and can prevent an enjoyable and rewarding undergraduate experience. Substance Free housing also offers a more subdued atmosphere, encouraging socialization amongst community members while maintaining an environment conducive to learning. Hood Hall is also an excellent residential community for students who are concerned about their personal health and welfare and that of their fellow students. We strongly encourage current and prospective students to consider living in Hood Hall as part of a healthy lifestyle.
