Goals and Mission

Substance Free housing exists on the Ithaca College campus to provide students with a supportive living area.  In Hood Hall, we strive to foster a community of respect and understanding, maintaining an environment that promotes the health and well-being of its members in all aspects of life.

In addition, Hood Hall provides a built-in social network for students who choose to be Substance Free, encouraging students to build lasting, healthy relationships with fellow community members, and presents venues where they can do so through frequent, beneficial programming that embraces both entertainment and education.
