Programas de Cocinar: We have made everything from paella to guacamole, tortillas and quesadillas.

Noches de Cine: Directors Pedro Almodovar and more. We invite students to show whatever pel í culas interest them, as long as they are in Spanish!

¡Viajes! We have gone to Toronto, Canada for a Flamentango performance and Syracuse to watch Fredrico García Llorca's "La casa de Bernarda Alba." In February 2008 we went to Philadelphia to see an exclusive exhibit on Frida Kahlo!

¡Baile Latino! We offer salsa, bachata, and Merengue classes on our floor, taught by IC's latin dance company, IC Mué vete.

Mesa española: We have a campus-wide Spanish roundtable once a week in the dining hall.

Grupo de Conversación: The Spanish education majors or teaching assistants on the floor coordinate weekly grammar and literature workshops for residents and other students.

Presentaciones enfocadas: Professors give culturally relevant presentations to the floor. The topics range from how to best travel through Perú to how México became such a unique republic.

Banquets: At the end of every semester we host a banquet for all Vecinos residents complete with superlatives, dancing, and food.
