American Advertising Federation (AAF)
Ithaca College’s American Advertising Federation chapter is a great place for IMC students, or other students just interested in advertising, to learn more about the industry and get started working with some clients. AAF members work together as a small ad agency, Park ADvenue, on projects for local business and charities. Members also have the opportunity to attend the Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) conference, attend guest speaker events, and network with fellow students and professors.
About the national organization:
The American Advertising Federation (AAF), headquartered in Washington, D.C., acts as the "Unifying Voice for Advertising." The AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. The AAF has a national network of 200 ad clubs located in ad communities across the country. Through its 226 college chapters, the AAF provides 8,000 advertising students with real-world case studies and recruitment connections to corporate America.
