Peter Berg (TV-R '07) is a documentary producer from Los Angeles, who works on non-fiction programs for the History Channel, Discovery Channel, TLC and more. He has also started his own corporate teambuilding company called Reality Rush. In 2011, Pete participated in the Mongol Rally, driving a one-liter Fiat through 19 countries from London to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Josh Herman (BUSINESS ’91) serves as VP of Product Strategy and Innovation for Acxiom Corporation. His responsibilities include business development for multichannel marketing applications in mobile, TV, online media, email and print channels. As one of the creators of the household segmentation system Personicx, he also develops marketing applications leveraging Personicx across different industries and business applications. He is privileged to work and consult with Acxiom’s largest partners and brand name clients engaged in the emerging digital media channels including Citi, Macy’s, Disney, Verizon, Fidelity, Comcast, Harrah’s, AT&T, and more. Josh has been recognized as one of American Demographics magazine’s “25 most influential people on the demographic landscape in the past 25 years.”
Carole Irgang (TV-R ’86) is the owner and President of Red Shoes Marketing, a strategic marketing and communications consultancy helping Fortune 500 companies succeed with innovative ideas and go-to market strategies in today's ever-changing consumer marketplace. Prior to Red Shoes Marketing Carole served as the Senior Vice President of Integrated Marketing Communications at Kraft Foods where she had the opportunity to see, learn and create integrated marketing ideas for today’s evolving marketplace.
Lindsey Knox (JOUR ’07) resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she works for CNN's sister network, HLN, as a writer for Morning Express with Robin Meade. She got her start at CNN writing for their affiliate service, Newsource. Before working with HLN, Knox worked for WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pennsylvania. At WFMZ-TV, Knox worked as an assignment editor and would later be promoted to the Producer for the 5:00 News.
Mike Nagel (JOUR ’04) is currently the Associate Director of AA&D Communications at Phillips Exeter Academy. Nagel has worked in network television, sales and marketing, public relations, communications and social media. In the social media world, Mike has reported from the Beijing Olympics as a travel blogger and ghost-blogged and managed social media for a startup.
Mike Potter (TV-R ‘07) is co-founder of Disrupto, a New York based digital incubator focusing on delivering innovative products and solutions to both startups and large organizations, including Samsung, Madison Square Garden, and BET. In addition to Disrupto, Mike has launched two Web startups: Cliptive, an online, interactive film festival exclusively for short films and PureFilmer, an open platform for media production and collaboration. As a technologist, Mike conducted research for the National Science Foundation in virtual reality and stroke rehabilitation training.
Doug Weisman (ED DEV’78) began his 30-year television career as a freelance sound tech and then a freelance cameraman for CBS Network News. Working alongside Dean Gaskill for many years, covering the same stories for different networks, the two formed a close bond, which ultimately lead to the formation of the partnership, which became VideoLink. Doug's expertise in production logistics, field production and skill behind the lens have been the building blocks on which VideoLink has grown to the media communications firm it is today. Doug is actively involved in the company's major productions as well as development of new products and services.
