Scholarships

Applications for these 2008-2009 academic year scholarships are now closed. The Scholarship Committees reviewed all applications and awardees will be notified during the summer by letter to the permanent address. Non-recipients will not be notified. It is important that your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) be submitted to the Federal Processor in enough time for our Financial Aid Office to complete verification.

Formal applications must be filed with the Roy H. Park School of Communications in Park 319, Dean's Office Reception. It is the responsibility of the student to provide the following information on the form provided, or in a similar format:

1. Name of the scholarship for which you are applying.

2. Applicant name, permanent address (where mail can reach you after the end of the term), current year in school, identification number, major, minor (if applicable), concentration (if applicable), name of faculty advisor, and cumulative GPA.

3. A statement of goals, values, and objectives for a career in your major and in the area of the scholarship for which you are applying.

4. A list of department, school and campus achievements and activities.

5. A dated signed statement saying that you have completed the application personally and that the information you provided is complete and truthful.

Criteria for scholarship application and the respective forms for all available scholarships may be accessed at the links listed below. The below scholarships are for returning students only. If you wish to find information on the Park Scholar Award for incoming students, please go to www.ithaca.edu/parkscholars. Read the criteria carefully. A completed and signed paper copy of the form for each scholarship must be submitted no later than February 15, 2008.
