The Ithaca College chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists received the National Outstanding Campus Chapter Award for 2011-2012 at the Excellence in Journalism 2012 conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The award recognizes the best SPJ chapter among the 200 campus chapters nationally.
