Internship at a human rights advocacy organization, The Human Rights Campaign.
Worked as the Board Relations Intern within the Executive. Primary responsibility was organizing annual Equality Convention, which included about 450 HRC members from across the country. Handled RSVPs, hotel reservations, registration, and conference room reservations. Hilary Clinton was keynote speaker. The experience “really opened my eyes to the necessity of equality for all Americans, an important lesson to learn within the atmosphere of a large, national nonprofit.”
