Two CMD Students Inducted into Lambda Pi Eta
Elise Kain '09 and Michelle Duffy '09 are CMD's newest members of the Lambda Pi Eta honor society. The society's mission is to recognize, foster and reward outstanding scholastic achievement in communication studies.
Strategic Communication Department chair, Steve Seidman, awarded Kain her membership certificate at the ceremony on April 23rd. Duffy could not be present as she is spending the spring semester abroad.
Lambda Pi Eta is the distinguished undergraduate National Communication Honor Society of the National Communication Association. Membership is based on the student's record of academic excellence—a cumulative grade point average of 3.80 or higher and a minimum of 60 hours of earned credit—as a major in the Roy H. Park School of Communications.
