CMD's Cornell Woodson Addresses First-Year Students
The Ithaca College 2008 Convocation marked the beginning of the academic year, welcoming the class of 2012 and new college president, Tom Rochon, to the campus community.
Student Government Association (SGA) President Cornell Woodson ‘09 gave a stirring speech, with a challenge to first-year students. “You all are authors of your life story,” he said. “This is the day you begin writing another chapter in your book, this the day you start with a piece of clean paper.”
Woodson is a communication management and design student. He follows a tradition of leadership in the CMD major, including two previous SGA presidents, Brian Dashew ’06 and Nicolas Tarant ’00.
