According to the ThinkWorks website, Derek Cabrera, the company’s founder, believes, “We are preparing students for jobs that don't exist, that will use technology not yet invented, to solve unknown problems in a society we can only imagine."
Dr. Cabrera will be speaking on "Rethinking Education and Training in the 21st Century," Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., in the Park Auditorium. His presentation is sponsored by the Department of Strategic Communication. The presentation is open to the public, and a reception in the Park school lobby will follow his presentation.
