Jessica L. Hoeler, a senior concentrating in corporate communication, has been awarded one of five national scholarship awards of $1,000 from Sigma Iota Epsilon (SIE) national management honor society. Sigma Iota Epsilon membership is by invitation only to qualified students in management-related disciplines. Hoeler is president of the Ithaca College chapter.
Michelle L. Duffy, a December graduating senior in communication management and design, was named a runner-up, and awarded $750. She is vice president of communications in the local chapter.
Sigma Iota Epsilon strives to stimulate interest and achievement in the field of management through encouragement and recognition of academic excellence, programs to enhance members' professional development, and service to the community.
