Dr. Steve Seidman's article, "Studying Election Campaign Posters and Propaganda: What Can We Learn?" has been published in the International Journal of Instructional Media. The article examines the roles that posters have played in election campaigns as a medium of propaganda, and explores the involvement of the advertising industry in political communications.
Seidman is an associate professor, chair of the Department of Strategic Communication, and director of the Communication Management and Design program. He is the author of a popular blog, Posters and Election Propaganda and a book on political communication, Posters, Propaganda, and Persuasion in Election Campaigns Around the World and Through History.
