CMD Alumna Publishes Report on Open Source Software
Marci Paino '05 recently authored a report entitled, Open Source Software: Ideals, Concepts, and Applications, which has been published by Distance-Educator.com. The paper investigates open source software (OSS), identifying applications of it in education, explaining the strengths and weaknesses of OSS, and offering a look into its future prospects. While a student in the CMD program, Marci concentrated in learning and performance and is currently a graduate student in Educational Technology at San Diego State University.
