Karl Vanledtje '93 Shares Experience as an Internet Entrepreneur
Karl Vanledtje was a guest speaker for the CMD Department on November 14th, sharing his experiences of building a business and communicating in an "internet workplace." He is a 1993 graduate of the program, known then as Corporate Communication.
Karl operates a full service instructional design and project management company, The VLA Group, providing large-scale corporate events, training programs, and organizational performance consulting, primarily for global pharmaceutical companies. His practice incorporates many areas of CMD:

- instructional design and web-based training

- leadership
- new technologies, e.g. web casting and CD programming
Karl was available to give students his input on any projects currently in progress. The event was sponsored by the CMD student organization.
