Dr. Howard Kalman, assistant professor in Communication Management and Design, has co-authored "A Framework for New Scholarship in Human Performance Technology," published in a special issue of Performance Improvement Quarterly. The article began as a reaction to recent criticisms of the limitations of instructional design and resulted in the development of a conceptual framework for analyzing learning designs.
