This 10-week, full-time, paid summer internship program is designed to expose diverse college and university students to the many career opportunities within the motorsports industry. In addition to NASCAR, this program involves several NASCAR sponsors and licensees, NASCAR teams and tracks, and other motorsports-related companies. Over 170 interns from across the country have participated in this program, some of whom later accepted full-time positions in the industry.

Ithaca College’s Jusan Hamilton, a junior Integrated Marketing Communications major and Sociology major will participate in this program.

"Since a young age I have had a passion for the sport of NASCAR. Prior to attending Ithaca College, I dreamed of being a great race car driver in the sport. The Park School allowed me to realize a new dream; a career in NASCAR in integrated marketing communications. Thanks to the great people and the education I have received in the Park School that dream is becoming a reality this summer through an internship with the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program, at the NASCAR corporate offices. I now have the best possible opportunity to accomplish the new dream of a career in NASCAR, working to grow the sport and share my passion for the sport with others."
