The Park School and the Olympic Experience

The Park School of Communications invites current students and their families to a lively and informative presentation recapping our student interns’ Olympic experience as we look ahead to the Winter Olympics in Sochi 2014.

Matt Millson '06, Park graduate and current Manager of Mobile Products at NBCU Sports & Olympics, will be joined by a panel of London 2012 interns to discuss the value of the experience, how it can enhance a student's academic and career goals, and what applicants to Sochi 2014 can do to prepare.

Park School Family Weekend Reception

Share coffee with the Park School family including Dean Diane Gayeski, faculty and staff. Students are encouraged to show their families where they take courses and work on co-curricular activities, and to introduce their professors.

The Park School on the Road

Parents of students who are majors or minors in the Park School are invited to a presentation about Ithaca College's James B. Pendleton Center in Los Angeles, the IC program in London, our new ICNYC program, and highlights from some of our international internship and travel opportunities.

Media Arts In London and Rome: Info Meeting

Prof. Nicholas Muellner will present an informational meeting for students interested in both the June 2013 Photographic Projects in Rome Program, and the on-going Media Arts Program at the Ithaca College London Center. Rome and London alumni will also be on hand to provide student insight on the programs.

Find Your Inner Seoul: Documentary Screening and Info Meeting

Documentaries produced through a Cross-Cultural Documentary Research & Production class in summer 2012 will be screened. Cross-Cultural Documentary Research & Production class was taught at Hanyang University International Summer School in 2012 with other Media related courses. Five different short documentaries by Park students will be screened and the screening will follow a Q&A session with filmmakers.

Also, there will be a presentation about this summer study abroad program.
