Hearst magazines video team
Hearst Magazines is looking for a summer intern to work with the video team on creating high-quality video for use on Hearst Magazines websites, including Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Esquire, and many others. The candidate will work closely with the team on original productions (all aspects of field and post production), as well as editing, archiving, posting videos to the web, and other daily tasks.
Candidates should preferably be film, media, or broadcast communications majors. We require someone with experience in videography, field production, video editing, and encoding video for the web. He or she must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; be able to work effectively to keep production schedule; and juggle multiple responsibilities.
The internship will begin immediately and will be 2-3 days per week. Scheduling days and hours will be flexible.
This is an unpaid internship. We will work with the candidate to fulfill class credit requirements if necessary. Only students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program should apply.
