Special Internships
The Park School offers special internship programs:
- The Progressive/Independent Media Internship program, funded by a generous benefactor, offers recipients a $2,500 stipend for a credit-bearing summer internship with an independent media organization.
- The Big Apple Award, made possible through the generosity of Park School alumni working in the New York City area, provides three $1,500 awards to support credit-bearing undergraduate summer internships, carried out in the New York City area
- James B. Pendleton Award for Student Summer Internships
Available to academically qualified BS or BFA students in Cinema and Photography to supplement the costs associated with undertaking a credit-bearing summer internship. Applications are accepted until May 15.
- The Emerson Summer Internship This Provost Office grant provides one senior an award of $3000 for a credit-bearing summer internship.
- NBC Olympic Internship Program for the 2012 Summer Games, The Park School of Communications is one of a select few schools where NBC recruits interns to work for the London 2012 Olympic Summer Games telecasts.
