As the entire world is getting ready for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada and so is the Park School. Once again NBC Sports has selected Park as one of only a very small number (latest estimate is THREE) schools in the entire country that it will be recruiting interns.
-- The Olympics will take place in February 2010. Interns will be required to travel to Vancouver in January and will return to campus early in March.
-- The Park School will work with all of the students who are accepted into the program to ensure that they will stay on track for graduation. Last time, special courses were created specifically for the interns, beginning upon their return to campus in March; that's an option again this time.
-- NBC Sports will be on campus for interviews late in March; the exact dates haven't been determined, but we'll keep you posted.
-- Application Deadline is March 9, 2009 at 5 p.m. Please turn in applications to the Park School Dean's Office. No Exceptions.
-- Students currently off campus can apply; please contact April Johanns regarding any questions.
-- While the Park School will work closely with NBC Sports to coordinate and organize the interviews, and will work closely with our students who go to Vancouver, NBC Sports makes all decisions regarding selection of interns.
