Nebojša Šeric Shoba is a New York based, Sarajevo born artist whose video, photographic and sculptural works playfully and critically evoke problems of political and cultural identification within the disorienting and contradictory structures of contemporary global society. Over the past ten years he has exhibited widely in Europe, including solo shows in Zagreb, Amsterdam, Bern, Ljubljana, Gotebord and Sarajevo. His works have been included in numerous exhibition in Europe and the United States, including MASS MoCA, P.S.1 and Exit Art in the United States, and the Jeu de Paume and the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris.
