Rostan Tavasiev is a Moscow based sculptor and installation artist whose deceptively playful works arrange the iconography of innocent childhood into sophisticated and often troubling narratives of escape, punishment loss and desire. His work has been widely exhibited in Moscow, including the 1st and 2nd Moscow Bienniales, the Tretyakov Gallery and Reflex Gallery. His work is represented in public and private collections in Russia and internationally, and is represented by Aidan Gallery in Moscow.
