An introspective work that obliquely measures the fragility of life against boundless forces of nature, such as Alaskan ice floes, the Aurora Borealis and magnetic storms.

Rebecca Meyers received her MFA from the University of Iowa in Film/Video Production. She is now based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she works at the Harvard Film Archive. Her film work has screened internationally at festivals including Media City, Images, the London International Film Festival, Ann Arbor, Oberhausen, Black Maria, the San Francisco International Film Festival, the European Media Art Festival, and Third Text: Images and Media Festival in Hong Kong. Her films have been included in curated exhibitions that include "Techniques of the Observor" by Cinema Project in Portland, "Bringing to Light" by the San Francisco Cinematheque, "The Independents" by the Cinematheque Ontario, "Sky and Water" by The Magic Lantern Film Series, and "White Shadows: Stories and Polar Visions" by the Galleria Civica di Arte Contemporanea of Trento, Italy. Meyers had worked as a programmer for Chicago’s Onion City Festival, Iowa City’s THAW Festival and the “Light Reading” series, which she founded.
