"The skills focused on in comm management are skills that you sometimes assume
everyone has, but I found out that this is not true in the workplace. The focus on
relationship-building, teamwork, multi-tasking and always looking for ways to improve a
situation are core workplace skills. Until I interacted with people who lack these
skills, I did not realize how lucky I am to have been taught how to understand and
create better conditions, both personally and professionally."
