"After 2 years in the Peace Corps providing HIV/AIDS prevention strategies in rural
Tanzania, I was recruited to work at the American Embassy in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
Drawing on the organizational and analytical skills developed in my studies at Ithaca
College and professional experiences, I conducted needs analysis and made
recommendations for project design. I also collaborated on strategic communications for
high profile individuals such as the American Ambassador to Tanzania. This experience
was both a milestone and a stepping stone in my career as a strategic communication
specialist promoting global health and development."
