A critical part of becoming a PR professional is gaining hands-on experience in the field. And what better way for students to gain that experience than by promoting what Park students know best – the Roy H. Park School of Communications. Launched in 2010, Park Design House’s PR team does just that.
Park Design House’s PR team gives students the opportunity to share their insight into how they think the Park School should be promoted. Team members are busy writing PR pieces that profile Park students’ interesting internships, shed light on under-recognized Park organizations, and acknowledge the outstanding accomplishments of Park’s world-renowned faculty. These pieces are then utilized as promotional material, either as featured pages on the Park School’s website or in print pieces that are passed out to both prospective and current Park students. The PR team meets twice a month to discuss their projects, learn from team leaders and other team members, and brainstorm interesting projects for the future.
Park Design House’s PR team is open to all classes and majors.
