Andreava (Drea) is employed at Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) through the Americorps VISTA Summer Associate Program—A national service program designed specifically to fight poverty. At CCE she works in the Agriculture Department on projects specifically related to the local food system. Drea is currently putting her effort towards the Healthy Food For All Program: a resource to provide low-income families with subsidized Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares and nutrition education. Her responsibilities include developing outreach materials with the use of her graphic design skills, maintaining social networks, building community relations, writing grants, fundraising, and event planning. Drea is a May 2011 graduate with a B.S. in Strategic Communication, a concentration in Integrated Studies (a combination of Corporate Communications and Instructional Design), and a minor in Environmental Studies.
