Many of our students spend a semester studying in a foreign country, from Spain and Italy to South Africa and Fiji Islands!
Laura Rowett '09. Australia—Spring 2008
"A year ago, I would never have guessed that in just 5 months I would learn how to surf, climb up a mountain, swim in the Great Barrier Reef and wake up at dawn to photograph the outback. I am much more of an indoors kind of girl. Australia taught me to break out of my comfort zone and try new things—a lot of new things—because greatest experiences are the ones that you would never think to try. I still can not believe that just a few months ago, I was camping in the outback, driving past dozens of kangaroos and taking photos along the journey. It was truly an unforgettable experience."
