|IMC Alumni ProfilesChenaya Devine Milbourne, '14, Urban Decay Cosmetics|
Chenaya is the Global Marketing Coordinator at Urban Decay Cosmetics.
"Summer after my junior year of college I received the AAF Vance and Betty Lee Stickell Internship and was placed at Urban Decay Cosmetics in Newport Beach, California. I was really nervous because I had initially wanted a position with an advertising agency a little closer to home, but I figured I'd take the plunge into the client side of things. I absolutely loved it. IMC had not only prepared me for the advertising side of things, but also the marketing side of things as well. Urban Decay was really impressed with my ability to think both creatively and strategically, and I ended up becoming a liaison between the creative department and marketing department since I was able to easily work between both Microsoft and Adobe software. As I was getting ready to leave my internship in August, Urban Decay told me they would create a position for me doing exactly what I did that summer. On July 7th I will be starting in that new position as the Global Marketing Coordinator. I truly am so grateful to have graduated with the skill set IMC has given me."
