Courtney Brown Awarded Lee Epstein Scholarship

Courtney Brown '14, an IMC major, was one of 15 students awarded the Lee Epstein Scholarship by the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF). The faculty sponsor was Professor Scott Hamula, who is also chair of Ithaca College's Department of Strategic Communication and director of the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) program in the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

The Lee Epstein Fund Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Lee Epstein, founder of the non-profit Direct Marketers Gateway, Inc. and a lifelong supporter of direct marketing educational programs. The $1,000 scholarships are provided to full-time undergraduate students in the tri-state area. Headquartered in New York City, the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) works to attract, educate, and place top college students by continuously improving the teaching of world-class direct / interactive marketing and, thereby, expanding and enriching the talent pool of trained, market-ready direct marketers.
