Outside Campus Center

Centrally located at the east end of the academic quad, the Campus Center is a 120,000-square-foot facility serving all members -- faculty, staff, students, administrators, alumni, and guests -- of the Ithaca College campus. It hosts programs, meetings, receptions, administrative offices, and food and coffee services, and is a consistent hub of activity.

In addition to hosting events, the Campus Center services include

  • the information desk
  • ticket sales
  • recreation center
  • the services office
  • U.S. Post Office substation
  • various food locations
  • Ithaca College Bookstore
  • three ATM machines

The original Campus Center was the fourth building constructed on the South Hill campus. In 1965 it was named Egbert Union, in honor of the College's first president. Renovated in 1987, it was officially dedicated as the Campus Center. Today the Campus Center comprises Egbert Hall, Phillips Hall, and the Phillips Hall annex.

As the "living room" of the College, the Campus Center provides many of the services, conveniences, and amenities that members of the College community need in their daily lives on campus.
