About The Disney College Program:

The Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World® Resort is a one-of-a-kind, Disney-designed combination of education and work experience.

You can practice your interpersonal communication and networking skills during Speed Networking.  Join Cornell students and local professionals at the Holiday Inn on Tuesday, September 29 at 5:30 for this annual event.  You will have the opportunity to talk with Ithaca alumni and local professionals who work in a variety of fields and who can share information with you about life after college.  This event is free, but you must pre-register in the Office of Career Services.  Visit http://www.ithaca.edu/sacl/careers/events1/SN/ for more information about the event.  Registration closes on Wednesday, September 23 and is available on a 1st come - 1st served basis.

All community members are invited to learn more about the work that they do and the job opportunities that are being offered.

If you want to see the world, make a difference, learn a language and acquire varied skills, then come to the Peace Corps information session on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 7:00pm in the Ithaca Falls Room (Campus Center). During this session you will learn about the Peace Corps and how it can help you to accomplish your dreams and goals.

The Peace Corps is looking for interested people of all ages and walks of life to dedicate their time and energy to helping others while learning to love new and exciting lands. Volunteers in Peace Corps work with local and regional governments, schools, youth, community members, local non-profits, and entrepreneurs to address changing and complex needs. Unlike other organizations, Peace Corps Volunteers live and work in a local community where they provide guidance and skill transfer, as well as opportunities for cultural exchange.
