Make a Connection - The Ithaca College Job & Internship Drive

Message From Our Chairs

Dear Ithaca College Alumni, Parents & Friends:

When asked why Ithaca College holds a special place in our hearts, the sense of community that we have found here comes immediately to mind.  Ithaca’s focus on student learning helps to create our community, which is an important part of the Ithaca College experience that our students will take with them upon graduation.  In light of current job market trends, we are asking for your increased support in creating internship and job opportunities for the Ithaca College community.

As alumni, parents and friends of Ithaca College, you understand the value of an Ithaca College education.  This value derives from the ability of our students to take classes across disciplines, to have the attention of their faculty and to experience hands-on learning in the classroom.  Students prepare themselves for life after college by participating in internships, co-curricular activities and athletics, each of which deepens their educational experience.

We are asking you to further enhance the value of an Ithaca College education by showing the strength of our community through your participation in the Ithaca College Job and Internship Drive.  If you share internship and job opportunities for students and alumni with the Office of Career Services, you will positively impact the career options of your fellow community members while bringing the Ithaca College spirit into your organization.

Our request can’t be stated any simpler than this: please share existing internship and job opportunities, create new internship opportunities for Ithaca students, and remember this drive when new jobs become available.  Your participation could help members of the Ithaca College community make the connection that leads them to their dreams.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Kirk, Jimmy & Tiffany
