Over 125 graduate programs are expected to attend Ithaca College's 9th annual Graduate & Professional School Fair! This is event provides students with the opportunity to learn about the graduate school application process as well as, specific programs.

Our fall fair is held in late October and focuses on full time job opportunities as well as internships. It is a good event to attend if you are looking for: spring interns, December graduates, or are trying to get a head start on your recruiting for May graduates. Our annual Etiquette Dinner is held on the evening of the information fair and provides an additional opportunity to interact with our students.

Career And Internship Connection
Multiple Dates, Multiple Locations
Co-Sponsored by Ithaca College and 17 other schools, Career and Internship Connection (CIC) events are held over winter break in: Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago and San Francisco.
CIC offers students the opportunity to pre-apply for job and internship interviews that are held the day of each event. There is also a career fair where students can network with prospective employers and schedule interviews the day of the event.
Mock Interview Day
Spring: February 26, 2008
Mock Interview Day provides students with the opportunity to have a practice interview with an actual employer from the community. It's a great way to build visibility for your company, while helping students improve their interviewing skills!
Cornell's Nonprofit & Government Career Fair
Spring: February 28, 2008
Ithaca College students are invited to Cornell's annual Nonprofit & Government Career Fair on February 28! Representatives from over 60 organizations (local, regional, national, and international) will inform students about their full-time, part-time, internship and volunteer positions. For students who are exploring career fields, representatives will share general organization and industry information.
Career Services will be running a free shuttle to and from the event on the half hour, beginning at 12:00 noon from the IC flag pole. The last shuttle will leave Cornell at 3:30 p.m.
Take an Ithacan to Work Day

On Wednesday March 19th you can shadow a local professional to learn about your industry of choice and to make a connection for future networking needs. All Ithaca students are eligible to sign up for this opportunity and may do so in the Office of Career Services. The registration deadline is February 22nd, however students will be matched with their employer of preference based on the date their form is submitted. You will be notified of your employer match during our required orientation session on March 6th at 12:15. If you are interested in shadowing an employer but have a scheduling conflict with the program or orientation dates we may be able to consider other options so make sure to let us know of your interest soon. This new program is sponsored by the Ithaca College Office of Career Services in partnership with Ithaca Forward

Our annual spring fair takes place in late March. It is a good event to attend if you are looking for; fall or summer interns, May graduates, or summer employees.

Teacher Recruitment Days (TRD) 2008 will be held at SUNY Cortland on April 7th and 8th, 2008. School districts from across the country will send recruiters to Cortland to conduct interviews for known and anticipated vacancies.
Central New York Communications Consortium

The Central New York Communications Consortium is co-sponsored by five of New York's most competitive communications programs (Ithaca College, Syracuse University, Cornell University, LeMoyne College, Colgate College). Held annually at Syracuse University, hundreds of students participate in this three day event as well as, many of the top companies in the field of communications. It is our goal to provide both students and employers with a comfortable, efficient and cost effective setting in which to discuss opportunities.
