Speed Networking

Practice your networking skills while meeting local professionals at the 2nd annual Speed Networking event on Tuesday, September 29.  This is a great opportunity to hone your communication skills while developing contacts, whether you have chosen a career or are unsure of what you want to pursue.  Learn about career options, life after college and build your network!

Speed Networking starts at 5:30pm, with check-in and an optional workshop starting at 5:00pm.  From 5:30 - 7:30, you will have the opportunity to talk with local professionals in short 7 minute time blocks.  We will provide sample questions for you to use to stimulate conversation.  Last year over 100 students and professionals enjoyed the event.

Speed Networking will be held at the Holiday Inn and is sponsored by Ithaca College, Cornell University, the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce and the Society for Human Resource Management of Tompkins County.   Students must register in the Office of Career Services.  Please note that space is limited but a waitlist will be offered.  Transportation is not provided to this event.
