Teacher Recruitment Days

Teacher Recruitment Days (TRD) is held annually at SUNY Cortland during the spring semester. Districts from across the country send recruiters to conduct interviews for known and anticipated vacancies. Candidates from 13 Central New York colleges and universities are invited to attend this employment event.

TRD 2013 will take place on Thursday, April 18th and Friday, April 19th. Requirements for participation and the online registration can be accessed on the CNYCDA webpage. The online application/registration for TRD is March 4th at 6:00 a.m. through March 15th at 11:59 p.m. Transportation is not provided for this event.

Eligible students considering attending TRD are highly encouraged to attend the “TRD Informational Workshop” on February 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the Career Services office, Muller 101. We will cover eligibility requirements, the TRD schedule, what to expect, and how to prepare for the event. It is also recommended to have your resume reviewed by someone in Career Services before attending Teacher Recruitment Days; drop-in hours are Monday through Friday, 12:00-4:30 p.m.
