Letter From Luis

 Dear Friends,

Warm greetings from my family, I hope you are in good health.  I want to thank you for the letter and the present you sent me, I got a pair of jeans, 2 t-shirts, 3 underwear and a game.  My brothers and I feel happy for the presents you sent me from the United States.  I am going to school, I am in 6th grade of elementary school, my favorite courses are math, social science and social studies.  I hope you write me soon and tell me how you are, I would like you to send me picture of you to know you.

Educating for Justice and Peace is about taking action in our community and around the world to help foster love and acceptance of our neighbors.  This committee plans trips to the local soup kitchen, Loaves and Fishes.  They also plan service trips during breaks and collect donations for Ronald McDonald House Charities as well as our foster child, Luis.  For more information about the Educating for Justice and Peace committee, please contact Amy Suznovich (asuznov1@ithaca.edu).
