Important Information for Masters and Doctoral Graduates

Graduate Students,

It is my pleasure to invite you to the eighth annual graduate hooding ceremony at Ithaca College on Saturday, May 17, to be held in honor of your significant achievement in earning an advanced degree. The ceremony will take place from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the Glazer Arena in the Athletic and Events Center, followed by a reception from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

The Hooding Ceremony provides us with a special opportunity to extend our congratulations to you from your chair and dean, to share messages from the provost and president, and to enjoy a formal reception held in your honor.

I do hope that you and your guests are able to attend our graduate hooding ceremony, as well as IC's Commencement on Sunday, May 18, and that this website assists you in your planning.  Should you have questions about the hooding ceremony, please feel free to contact your Dean's Office or the Office of the Provost.

All the best to you in the completion of your degree requirements; I look forward to honoring your outstanding achievement at this special ceremony.

Sincerely,

Marisa Kelly
Provost and Vice President of Educational Affairs
