Thanks to Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick, city public works crews, and project contractors, Clinton Street will be open during Commencement weekend and it will not be necessary to detour around the construction project.
It is already the time of year to be thinking about Commencement. Your help is requested to serve as a Field Attendant for the College’s upcoming Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 20, 2012.
Your help is necessary to ensure that the ceremony is carried out in an orderly manner. Responsibilities for Field Attendants include managing the on field student seating and maintaining order. Many of us have played an important role during the 2012 graduates’ experience at Ithaca College and this is one more opportunity to do so again.
Refreshments will be provided and non-exempt employees who assist during the ceremony will be paid according to the College overtime policy.
Please contact me, Brian Scholten, at firstname.lastname@example.org or extension 4-3075 if you would like to work as a Field Attendant helping graduates on this special day. Your help is appreciated.
