2009-2010 DAC sponsored events

In 2009-2010, DAC sponsored 15 events and activities, including:

• Political activist Paolo Gutierrez Galindo spoke on NAFTA and the Mexican economy
• A virtual performance of celebrated vocalist Shubha Mudgal & percussionist Aneesh Pradhan instructing a class on N. Indian classical music from Mumbai, India
• MLK week Talking Circle on Race and Racism (January 2010)
• The Asian Culture Club's activities promoting Focus Asia Month (April 2010)
• 8th Annual Rainbow Reception, a ceremony honoring graduating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied seniors and graduate students
