Mid-Term Grades

What are mid-term grades?
In most courses at the College, mid-term grades are available for students and their advisers via Homer Connect. Mid-term grades provide students with an assessment of their academic performance in courses up to the mid-term point in the semester. These grades are available to students usually about the period of fall and spring breaks and prior to course selection time for the next semester. Availability dates of mid-term grades may be found on the Academic Calendar on the Registrar’s homepage.

Should I meet with my adviser to discuss my mid-term grades?
Students are encouraged to meet with their advisers and faculty members to discuss their mid-term grades especially if some grades are not up to your expectations. Discussions related to mid-term grades provide the opportunity to explore appropriate study skills and strategies for particular courses. With this extra assistance, there is plenty of time to work on needed improvements to coursework that has to this point been confusing or particular difficult.
