Family and Guest Orientation

Believing family members play an important role in their college student's continuing development and education, we design the family orientation program to address your unique questions and concerns. Students can sign-up family members and guests to attend summer orientation through their myIthaca account.

Specifically, the goals of family orientation are:

• Help families gain an understanding of the college mission and vision
• Help families make a connection with faculty and staff within their student's academic school and campus-wide
• Help families gain an understanding of their student's rights and responsibilities as an IC community member
• Receive exposure to some of the academic and social challenges their student may face
