The educational workshops that will be a highlight of the 2010 Martin Luther King, Jr Week are now available on the MLK Celebration website.

Workshops are available to all members of the campus community.  No reservations are necessary, but please plan to arrive early as space is limited.


 As an RA you will:

  • Develop leadership skills
  • Strengthen organizational skills
  • Receive Complete Room fee coverage and part of Board fee
  • Live in a single room
  • Create and foster community on campus


Want to get away for the weekend, meet new people and build your leadership skills? The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs is now accepting applications for the annual Leadership Weekend retreat – and you should apply!


As we prepare for this year’s Commencement on May 23, 2010, I wanted to share with you some exciting news for 2010 graduates.  A workgroup was formed last spring semester by President Tom Rochon to make some recommendations about how the College could enhance the academic focus of the Commencement ceremony. The workgroup members included:
