Programming/Communications Intern: Jessie Kanowitz
Jessie is a Therapeutic Recreation major in her Senior year. She grew up in Mt. Sinai, NY a small town on the north shore of Long Island. Jessie has taken an active role in Hillel since her freshman year and is now the programming intern of the organization. Jessie is currently working at the Ithaca Youth Bureau in Recreation Support Services. Some of Jessie's other extra curricular activities include President of the Recreation and Leisure Studies Majors Club, Co-Leader of Spread the Word to End the Word Rally and Event Planner for Active Minds. She also contributes to the President's Host Tour Guides and the Athletics and Events Center.
President: Jason Kleban
Jason is a sophomore history major from a small town in Delaware called Arden, just North of Wilmington. He started participating in Hillel his freshman year, but has grown much more active in the past year. Along with being the President of the Executive Board, he is also one of the Peer Network Engagement Interns for Hillel. Some of his other activities include an active membership of the Red Cross club, participation in many intramural sports, and acting in various roles for film students.
Vice President: Paige Erlich
Paige is a sophomore Integrated Marketing Communications major from the suburbs of Philadelphia. An active Hillel member since her first day at Ithaca, she is committed to Jewish Life on Campus, also serving on the Student Alliance for Israel (SAFI) board. In her high school years, Paige was very active in NFTY, serving on her temple youth group board and on her regional NFTY board. In her free time, Paige enjoys hanging out with friends, watching Glee, and eating sushi.
Secretary: Jillian Kaplan
Jillian is a junior Writing major from the equally hilly and chilly state of Connecticut. She has been involved with Hillel since her Freshman year, and this past semester has been a FYSH leader. She took part in last Augusts’ First Year Shabbaton, helping incoming freshmen get a feel for campus life. Outside of Hillel, Jillian is a copy editor for The Ithacan and a member of Habitat for Humanity. She also enjoys playing on IC’s newly formed quidditch team. She is excited to be on board and make a great year for Hillel!
Treasurer: Marissa Rosenberg
Marisa Rosenberg, Occupational Therapy '15, is originally from Painted Post, NY (just an hour south of IC). She has been an active member of Hillel since arriving at IC. Now, as Treasurer of Hillel, she is excited to become even more involved and take on this leadership role. Since the beginning, Marisa has tried to immerse herself in various organizations including the Squash Team, Skiing Club, and OT Club. Even before coming to Ithaca College, Jewish involvement has been a large aspect of life whether at boarding school, or at her home temple -- it was a natural fit, at IC Hillel. She is very excited to be on board and to make a great year for Hillel.
