Parent Opportunities to Sponsor Students
Sponsorship Program
Each year, we offer a "Sponsor Your Student" program! Parents or family can sponsor their students for $100 for the year. (If they are going abroad - we have a $50 a semester option for those only here one semester of the year). Students can be living both on and off campus to participate in this program. With this sponsorship students receive the following:
- two call ins for Matzah Ball soup! (email the account and we get them a cup of matzah ball soup if they are not feeling well)
- a Hanukkah bag filled with goodies!
- A finals week survival box for both the Fall and Spring semesters - a good luck and de-stress package before finals week!
- A Purim bag filled with hamantashin and other fun goodies
- and a Passover kit!
Mailings go out at the beginning of the Fall semester. All forms and money must be in by October 1st to participate in this program. Hanukkah Bag's!
If you did not sponsor your student but would still like to get them a Hanukkah bag to be given out at our annual Hanukkah party - please email hillel@ithaca.edu or call 607-274-3323. Hanukkah bags are $18 or $28 with a t-shirt included! This bag is filled with goodies for Hanukkah as well as candles and a menorah available for pickup completely free of charge!
